Welcome to Brigadoon Village |
|
Take a stroll with us to Brigadoon. Feel, for a moment, the power of an ordinary summer day. Hear the crunch of pine needles and forest paths under your feet. Feel the cool lake water hold you up as you learn to swim. Whisper a secret to your new best friend. Understand, and be understood. Imagine a place where life - in all its joy and hardship - is celebrated. A place where the extraordinary kid has a chance to be ordinary. A place where you can be a teacher and a student and a camper and a fighter all in one breath.
Now imagine bringing this place for changing the lives of kids, youth and families living with chronic illness to life.

AYLESFORD LAKEIn December 2006, Brigadoon received a renewable 25-year lease with Nova Scotia Power for more than 100 acres of land over 10,000 feet of waterfront on Aylesford Lake, Kings County, Nova Scotia. Ideally situated for services, supplies, emergency response and modest human resource demands, the Aylesford Lake property exceeded Brigadoon’s site selection criteria.
